The African continent is a great place to visit. She has exceptional faun and fauna and she is also the most racially diverse continent on earth. In fact our continent is made up of 53 states. Cameroun is one of the best destinations. We have extraordinary lakes and sandy beaches whose colour are not white, but dark because of the influence of the volcanic eruptions whose magma that runs down the slops of Mountain Fako has not only changed the colour of her magnificent beaches, but has also made the province, the breadbasket of Cameroun. The South west province also has the largest agro-industrial establishment in West Africa called the CDC. Tourists may have the opportunity to visit CDC plantations or the camp lives of its workers. North of the English-speaking region is the North West province. She also has large colonial buildings, as well as elaborate traditional palaces of the regions royalties. While the coast of the region is highly westernized, the North West province has succeeded to preserve its traditions while adopting and adapting fairly well to modernity. So, a visit to the North West province, gives the visitor a unique opportunity to see the rich culture of the country. There are equally many places to visit in French Cameroun. Douala, the economic capital of both Cameroons is a pearl. But the part of Douala that is recommended is the colonial or old part, which is today the seat of the city and the littoral province. Old Douala, like Buea in the English-speaking South West province, has several colonial buildings that are in better state.
