Last year I visited Japan for the first time and I have to say that I spent there the best holidays of my life. Japanese people are very kind, polite, sociable, friendly and down to hearth people. They are very sociable and friendly, specially with foreign people. The Japanese culture is very interesting. The two major religions in Japan are Shinto and Buddhism. They have been coexisting for several centuries and have even complemented each other to a certain degree. Most Japanese consider themselves Buddhist, Shintoist or both. Anyway religion does not play a big role in the everyday life of most Japanese people today. The average person typically follows the religious rituals at ceremonies like birth, weddings and funerals, may visit a shrine or temple on New Year and participates at local festivals (matsuri), most of which have a religious background. During my traveling I had the possibility to see many Buddhist temples. The  most beautifull temple I saw in Kyoto  has been the kiyomizudera temple: Virtually every Japanese municipality has at least one temple, while large cultural centers like Kyoto have several thousands of them. Temples store and display sacred Buddhist objects, and some of them used to or still function as monasteries. It’s a wonderful experience to explore the structures of these building: Main Hall, Gates, Bell, Cemetery.

Though Internet is full of good or bad reviews of hotels and the sites where they appear claims they are unbiased and posted by real travelers. But, the fact is that they may not be real and posted by hoteliers to boost business. Even if they are real, many times, it is possible that they may not be providing actual picture. I have recently stumbled upon hotelly.com which actually features video reviews of hotels across the world. These, I believe, are more trustworthy because When you view video reviews, you watch that is real and you trust. Travelers would shoot what they see; even hoteliers would avoid uploading unreal videoshotelly.com
